Preschool Program
Little Explorers - Wild About Learning
Our preschool program provides little explorers with fun, well-rounded, active learning experiences. Our curriculum focuses on project-based learning, STEAM exploration, and social development. Through a wide variety of age appropriate learning activities, little explorers will gain hands on experience about the wonderful world around them, get a better understanding of what they are learning, and discover that learning is part of their lives and it’s a lot of fun. Every day in the classroom, little explorers will engage in hands-on learning while developing academic skills and social skills in a safe and engaging environment.
Our preschool program runs from September to June and offers a variety of classes, including creative arts, STEM lab, social-emotional learning, and world languages & cultures. We provide class times and availability to fit family needs with options ranging from one drop-in class, month-long learning units, and more!

Young Preschool (children ages 2 ½–4)

Monday - Creative Arts
Our Creative Arts classes cover a wide variety of topics from exploring art forms, art mediums, elements of art to storytelling, drama, music, and movement. Through experimentation with sounds, colors, forms, motion and words, we provide each child with opportunities to express ideas and feelings, building creativity and imaginative thinking skills.
Tuesday - STEM Lab
Our STEM Lab classes are filled with fun, engaging STEM experiments/projects and cover a wide variety of topics from science, engineering, arts, math to social studies. We believe that preschool STEM is less about learning a specific body of knowledge and more about having the opportunities to explore, discover, learn to think creatively and to be problem solvers. Through exploration and experiment, preschool students learn that STEM is part of their lives and that it’s a lot of fun. We also focus on providing opportunities for little learners to create various DIY objects for them to gain self-confidence that they can build anything!
Wednesday - Social-Emotional Learning
Our Social-Emotional Learning classes cover a wide variety of topics from exploring feelings and emotions, building social skills, health and safety education, to life skills and character education. Through fun, meaningful learning activities, we provide daily opportunities for children to develop social skills, including interactions and communications with peers, expressing and managing feelings and emotions, self-help skills, building positive relationships with adults and other children, as well as empathy and care for others.
Thursday - World Languages & Cultures
Children will be exposed to and get the opportunity to practice sight words, dialogues in real-life situations, and storytelling both in English and either Chinese or Spanish. Our classes also engage children in an exploration of culture and develop children’s awareness and appreciation of cultural products, practices, and perspectives through a variety of activities including arts, games, performances, and celebrations.
Friday - Happy Friday
This is a unique aspect to the Young Explorers Club that you will not find elsewhere. Happy Friday is a fun-focused activity day for the whole class to really dive into different facets of learning. Students make happy memories and build social skills through fun, hands-on activities, team-building games, and celebrations.

Group discount: register a class with friends and save additional $15
